YOUR ORGANIZING SESSION
What to Expect
It is completely normal to feel all sorts of mixed emotions before our team arrives. Here is a breakdown of what to expect during your organizing session. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions in preparation for the big day!
Arrival
Once all our team members have arrived, your Lead Organizer will introduce you to the team. Together we will walk through the spaces to be organized. The team has already been prepped by your Project Manager on what to expect, so this brief walk-through is an opportunity for them to ask you any clarifying questions before the magic begins! Generally 15 to 30 minutes.
Unload
Our team will unload all the supplies and materials potentially needed for your project. It will seem like a lot, but don't worry, we like to show up prepared for anything and usually only use a small fraction of what we bring. Please let our team know if you would like them to place the product in a designated area. Should our team require any additional product throughout the session, we will use a same-day delivery company to order anything we might need.
Organize
Within 30 to 60 minutes of arrival, our team will begin emptying the contents of the spaces being organized and grouping items by category. During this time it is helpful for clients to check in regularly to answer questions about what to keep or donate. Once the area is emptied, we will begin product placement planning to best utilize the space. If you have a particular budget for product, our team will keep a running total to ensure we stay on track. Approved donations hauled away, space permitting, at no additional charge.
Label & Finesse
The last two hours of the session are all hands on deck! During this time our team members are labeling, counting product, taking photos, and loading up donations and unused product. While we aren't a cleaning company, we do try to wipe down surfaces and sweep up after ourselves, though sometimes we need to prioritize the finessing of systems over cleaning tasks. If it feels like a lot of commotion as we are wrapping up, just know this is normal, and that the home stretch is where the magic truly happens!
Walk Through
During the last 30 minutes of the session, each organizer will give you a tour of your newly organized spaces! During this time they will share tips for maintaining the systems and explain why certain placements and products were chosen for the space.
